Chiccane.com Inc. aims to provide you with the best online shopping experience possible. Please find below the terms and conditions governing purchases made on the Chiccane.com website. Please note that these purchase terms and conditions may change at any time. 1. Pricing All items sold on Chiccane.com are in Canadian dollars. Even though Chiccane.com Inc. attemps to be as thorough as possible about its pricing information, an error may still occur. Chiccane.com Inc. reserves the right to modify its prices at all times, without prior notice. 2. Payment All purchase transactions made on Chiccane.com are processed by PayPal, a leader in online payment solutions. Once you are done shopping, PayPal will offer you different methods of payment, such as Visa and Master Card, or simply via your PayPal account, if you have one. Please note that it is not necessary to have a PayPal account to complete your purchases online at Chiccane.com. 3. Delivery Fees Fixed shipping rate policy. In order to facilitate your shopping experience on Chiccane.com, a fixed shipping and handling fee will be added to your final invoice, depending on the delivery address specified by the customer: Canada: $9,00 CAD per order (plus applicable taxes). Continental USA (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Porto Rico): $15,00 CAD per order. Other international destinations: $59,00 CAD per order. In the event that an item is on backorder, no additional shipping and handling charges will be added to your invoice should an item be shipped to you separately at a later time. In the event of a merchandise exchange, the new item will be shipped to the customer at no additional delivery cost. 4. Taxes, duties, and other costs Canada: Applicable taxes such as the GST, QST (in Quebec only) and HST (in certain Maritime provinces) will be added to your final invoice, based on the delivery address as specified by the customer. International orders: The customer is responsible for any tax, customs, duties, and other related costs of import, as per the import laws of the country of destination. 5. Delivery Delay Chiccane.com Inc. commits to deliver your order within 30 days of accepting payment. In the event that the ordered items may not be shipped within five (5) business days following receipt of the order, an e-mail will be sent to the customer with an estimated delivery date. An e-mail will be sent to the customer as soon as an order has shipped, or at the latest fifteen (15) days following the placement of an order, with shipping information allowing the customer to follow the transit of the order. 6. Order Modification To modify an order that has not yet been shipped within a maximum of 72 hours following the placement of the order, please contact a customer service representative ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Chiccane.com Inc. commits to modify the order withing 72 hours of the customer's request, subject to the availability of the new item. In the event that an order has already been shipped, please refer to Section 7 for order cancellation, return or exchange. 7. Cancellation, Return, Exchange We offer our customers the possibility to cancel, exchange or return any item purchased on Chiccane.com within 30 days following receipt of the order, by written notice. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with the following information: Invoice number, item number, description, quantity, price, and reason for return or exchange. You will then receive a Return Authorization Number, which will have to be included with the returned item. The costs associated with shipping items back to Chiccane.com Inc. headquarters in Blainville, Quebec, Canada are at the customer's expense. All returned items must be sent back in the same condition as they were received (including tags) in order to qualify for an exchange or reimbursement, and will be accepted only if they are identified with the proper Return Authorization Number. Only the purchase price of the item, along with applicable taxes (in Canada only) will be reimbursed. Please note that the shipping costs are only reimbursed in the event of a cancellation (if an order has not yet been shipped), but will not be billed a second time in the event that an item is exchanged for a different one. Chiccane.com Inc. commits to exchange or reimburse items within 15 days of receiving the items at its headquarters. Should an item be out of stock in the event of an exchange request, Chiccane.com Inc. will reimburse the cost of the item. 8. Warranty Chiccane.com Inc. commits to exchange at no extra cost any item which is defective upon delivery, subject to the terms and conditions stipulated in Section 7. 9. Additional Information All online purchases are subject to Chiccane.com Inc.'s approval, and the availability of the ordered items, which may change at any time without prior notice. 10. Exclusion of Warranties 11. Limitation of Liability The Chiccane.com website is controlled by Chiccane.com Inc. in Blainville, Québec, Canada. The present agreement, your use of the website and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of Québec and applicable federal laws of Canada, to the exclusion of any private international law or conflict of laws rule, which calls for the application of other laws. Any dispute, legal action, proceeding or claim relating to this agreement, or any contravention of this agreement, will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Québec. |
