AN EVENING NOT TO BE MISSED DURING THE 2012 ROGERS CUP
The glamorous Rogers Cup Player Party fashion show, produced by Chiccane.com: where fashion and tennis collide!
Montréal, August 1st 2012 – One of the highlights of the Rogers Cup presented by National Bank has always been the popular Player Party. This year’s,event, being held on August 5th at 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Salon 4 of the Fairmount The Queen Elizabeth, promises to be a spectacular show. Creations from Quebec and Canadian designers will be presented during the evening, which is produced by the online boutique Chiccane.com and hosted by comedian Louis-José Houde. The show will be inspired by the television series Mad Men and will be set to the rhythms of artist Misstress Barbara.
Runway and players: a perfect match
This year’s exclusive fashion show will feature such Quebec designers as Eve Gravel, Martin Lim, Mélissa Nepton, Nadya Toto, and Rudsak. Guests will be able to watch both the players and professional male models show off CIN Tailleurs signature clothing. Among the players walking the runway are Daniela Hantuchovà, a star player whose beauty led her to appear in Sports Illustrated, Maria Kirilenko, a model and player ranked 15th in the world, Lucie Safarova, Petra Cetkovska, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, and many more! Moreover, well-known Quebec athletes who will also be present include Aleksandra Wosniak, Marie-Ève Pelletier, and Eugénie Bouchard, recent Wimbledon junior champ and La Presse personality of the week. Fun for a good cause
Profits from the evening will go to Tennis Canada’s Les petits as du tennis program, which seeks to promote tennis in schools.
